When we first arrived in Albania last fall, we didn’t know many people. That changed quickly after meeting a nomad friend who had a habit of hosting small, curated gatherings everywhere she lived. She told us it was the fastest way to create community. We agreed – and offered to help bring the idea to life here in Saranda.

That first night on our terrace overlooking the Ionian Sea was just the beginning. Since then, Spencer and I have been hosting private, intimate meetups designed for expats, digital nomads, and travelers looking to connect in a more meaningful way. We cap the ticket limit so the group stays small enough to really talk, share stories, and make friends you’ll actually see again.

This August, we’re bringing back our Friday night Private Terrace Party Series – each with its own theme, curated bites, and craft cocktails. Here’s what’s coming up:

15 August – Tiki on the Terrace
We’ll be serving up local honey-inspired light bites and refreshing Tiki cocktails. Expect a laid-back summer vibe and great company from around the world.

22 August – American BBQ Night
A taste of home for some, and a new experience for others – homemade American BBQ, beer, and whiskey punch on the terrace. Special guest Tahir Tahja, an Immigration Attorney from Tirana, will be joining us. If you’ve been wondering about residency in Albania or starting a business here, this is your chance to ask questions in person.

29 August – White Party & Sunset Disco
Dress in white and get ready to dance as the sun sets over Saranda. Our Gin Citrus cocktails and Albanian olive oil-inspired bites will set the mood for an unforgettable night.
